Front Only: This reproduction of Howard’s 1976 enamel painting on plywood #1,234 of the United States with pyrographic border from the collection of Carl and Michael Mendelsohn is in vivid 4-color process lithography on 100# dull white cover stock. Approximately 21.875 x 33.25.”
Hand signed by the artist in black permanent marker under right front corner of the image. As with many of the artworks by Howard at my Shopify store, I requested a guardian angel drawing next to his signature that he was always pleased to carry out—few examples of this superb poster have this distinction!
Archivally stored in mailing tube with expected curl in stock. Includes USPS Priority Mail shipping in a mailing tube within a mailing tube, and fully insured with signature confirmation.
No creases or foxing/yellowing—stock is brilliant white; top edge has a few inconsequential dingies that a matte, or frame will conceal.
EXCELLENT CONDITION! When framed and matted this will make a fine presentation of a beautiful, historic museum poster.
I met Howard at Paradise Gardens in Summerville, Georgia and statewide art festivals approximately a dozen times. R.E.M filmed their video Radio Free Europe at Paradise Gardens—Howard makes a brief appearance near its conclusion.
